Instructions for Use:
- Before treatment, immerse the supplied applicator in ethyl alcohol, allow it to dry, and then install the applicator on the syringe.

- Apply ALUSTAT FOAM directly to the bleeding spot. Rinse after 2 minutes. Repeat if necessary.
- To retract tissues:
- Apply ALUSTAT FOAM into the gingival sulcus using the supplied applicator. Rinse after 2 minutes. or
- Insert the retraction cord into the gingival sulcus and place ALUSTAT FOAM on the cord. Rinse after 2 minutes.
- A reusable product with a single-use applicator. Re-using the applicator may cause the risk of reinfection.

What is the difference between ALUSTAT FOAM and ALUSTAT GEL?
The main difference is the consistency. ALUSTAT FOAM has a foam consistency that provides better absorption of fluids (blood and exudates) compared to the gel. The concentration of aluminum chloride is also different (20% in the foam versus 25% in the gel). The foam is also designed for use in gingival retraction cases in addition to stopping bleeding.
Can ALUSTAT FOAM be used with a retraction cord?
